our history
2013
where it began
I fell in love with weddings and editorial style through the pages of Southern Weddings magazine and dreamed of a career in weddings.
2014
a pinch-me opportunity
Kyla began a year-long internship with a top Boston photographer who taught her how to serve couples well and create images with excellence!
2017
sweet beginnings for both of us!
We celebrated our wedding in June (looking back, we were so young!) and photographed our first wedding together in November.
2021
ksp is born
After years of studying photography, and being mentored by fine art photographers, we set out on our own and launched KSP on July 29th!
2024
a dream come true
Through lots of hard work (and the support of the best couples around!), KSP gained enough momentum for Kyla to take it full time at the start of our fourth season.

what locations do you serve?
We most commonly serve couples with weddings in New England, but we are available for travel worldwide!
how much time do photos take?
While this varies based on the size of your bridal party and families, we usually plan about 2 hours total for formal portraits.
What sets ksp apart?
We believe in forming strong relationships with our couples and championing them in married life. It's more than just photos to us!
DO YOU offer engagement photos?
Yes! We believe so strongly in the value of an engagement session that we gift one to each of our couples upon booking.
Do you work with videographers?
Yes! We are in full support of you hiring a videography team if you'd like and will work with them to create a seamless experience.
Do you provide posing direction?
Yes! While we strive to make every photo look and feel natural, we provide direction to make you comfortable and look your best!
do you recommend a first look?
Yes! This allows you to share more of your day together, complete most portraits before your celebration, and experience more ease.
Can I order prints?
Yes! While all of the finished high-resolution images are provided to you for download, we also offer professional prints from our lab!
what is your best advice for us?
Prioritize how you want your day to feel to you just as much as you plan how it will look. A good timeline is key to this!
