Monica and Andrew’s wedding day at the Beauport Hotel was everything a spring wedding should be—joyful, beautiful, and full of moments that made time feel like it stood still in the best way… including one very welcome weather surprise.

A Beauport Hotel Spring Wedding with the Sweetest Surprise

In the days leading up to the wedding, the forecast hinted at rain. Rather than dwell on it, we all simply adjusted our expectations for a gray, overcast day and carried on. But just an hour before the ceremony, we were given the sweetest surprise. The clouds melted away, the sun came out, and it stayed with us for the rest of the day. It was such a welcome surprise, bathing the deck in the most beautiful light just in time for their vows.

One of my favorite moments was when Monica and Andrew first saw each other on the deck overlooking the water. The joy in their eyes when they saw each other was so genuine. And that joy only grew when their sweet pup, Minnie, joined in for portraits. She stole everyone’s hearts (and the spotlight!) in the most adorable way—especially when she walked down the aisle later that afternoon.

This spring wedding at Beauport Hotel was not only filled with joy—it was also incredibly well-orchestrated thanks to the amazing Melissa, Monica and Andrew’s coordinator from Beauport. We’ve had the joy of working with her multiple times now and I truly can’t say enough good things about her. Every time we needed something to support Monica and Andrew—whether it was Monica’s bouquet for golden hour portraits, their signature drinks at the ready for them to enjoy, or a last-minute detail as we embraced the surprise sunshine—Melissa had already taken care of it. She anticipated every need with such grace, and her partnership made the entire day feel seamless.

As the sun set and the celebration continued, Monica and Andrew’s dance floor absolutely came alive. Jeff from ECF entertainment kept everyone on their feet, matching the energy of the guests so well. Their family and friends brought so much excitement, and the joy in the room was palpable. It was a night filled with laughter, revelry, and memories I know they’ll treasure for a lifetime.
