“I’m so glad it’s you who is here today!” Megan said as I photographed her details in her bridal suite. She was glowing and had such a sincere smile. It was early in the day of Megan and Danny’s classic wedding celebration at Aldrich Mansion. Taylor Swift was playing in the background and I’d just styled the prettiest flat lay. I was tucked into a side room on the top floor of the Omni hotel in Providence when the moment occurred. She’d just finished hair and makeup and was so joyful and at ease. Her kindness shined through every word and my heart was so full.

When I launched KSP (3 years ago yesterday!), I dreamed of having that kind of connection with my couples. Wedding photography is about so much more than photos for me. It’s about championing marriages. It’s about being a friend to my brides and grooms. And it’s about encouraging them through the milestones and moments that make up their legacy. Megan’s kind remark was living proof that I’m getting to live out that vision each day, and I’m so grateful!

A Classic Aldrich Mansion Wedding

Megan and Danny are kind, so incredibly happy around each other, and timeless as can be. From the white roses and peonies in Megan’s bouquet to the cufflinks that Danny wore and the monogram that graced their details, their day was filled with well-appointed details. When we arrived to Aldrich Mansion to see their wedding vision come to life, it was undeniably classic and joyful.

As their guests arrived and the chapel filled up with their loved ones, it was clear just how adored they are. Their friends and family traveled from far and wide to be there to celebrate them and the love was tangible. One of my favorite moments of the day was when her dad gave a toast and shared memories of Megan’s earliest days, remarking on how far she’d come and how proud he was of who she’d become. I’m so grateful that we got to capture every bit of this day and invite you to take a look at the details that made it so special!
