Megan and Brendan’s wedding day was the kind that we used to dream about. It was filled with so much love, classic design, and a couple who was so excited to simply be together and share in the day with their loved ones. The day had such an ease to it because of how joyful and easy going these two were – and we’re so grateful! Set against the backdrop of Gloucester’s coastal charm, their wedding at the Beauport Hotel was every bit as joyful, elegant, and heartfelt as the couple themselves.
A Coastal Wedding at Beauport Hotel
Megan and Brendan first met through a dear friend — one of our 2026 brides, Siobhan, who you’ll meet later this year! From the moment you see them together, it’s clear how deeply rooted their relationship is in friendship, unwavering support, and their joy for life. They were most excited to gather all their favorite people in one place to celebrate, and the excitement of their loved ones made clear that the feeling was mutual.
From the moment we arrived to Megan’s bridal suite, there was a sense of ease and excitement — the kind that only happens when the people surrounding you are just as thrilled as you are. Megan and Brendan’s families and bridal party were present, joyful, and fully invested in soaking in every second. It was such a gift to witness and photograph. I also was absolutely over the moon by how organized and thoughtful they were in planning custom details. It was a dream come true to style and photograph their stationery and accessories!
Design to Swoon Over
The design of the day was timeless coastal elegance, with thoughtful details tucked in every corner. Savannah of Savvy Floral Design brought floral whimsy with soft, romantic blooms that paired beautifully with the classic setting. Megan and Brendan’s coastal toile stationery suite, personalized matchbooks, and oyster shell escort cards added a touch of seaside charm, while their candlelit reception felt cozy, classic, and impossibly romantic. Megan honored her grandmother by wearing her bracelet, and Brendan’s monogrammed cuff and personalized cufflinks brought a special personal touch to his look.
One of my favorite parts of their celebration was watching Megan and Brendan during dinner — seated side by side, enjoying their meal, and completely beaming as they looked out at a room full of their loved ones. It’s easy for a wedding day to feel like a whirlwind, but they stayed present and truly savored every moment.
Though the weather brought some spring showers, Megan and Brendan were at ease and had so much joy. They braved the beach for portraits, and the resulting images are some of my favorites. Brendan kept Megan cozy from the mist that was rolling off the ocean and their photos turned out so sweetly.
To Megan & Brendan:
It was an absolute joy and honor to celebrate this day with you. Your wedding was filled with love, gratitude, and so much joy. Dillon and I are so grateful to have been the ones to document it all.
