Springtime in Boston is positively magical, and Sam and Matt’s engagement session in the Public Garden was no exception. The air was crisp but not too cold and the tulips were in full bloom. It was a lovely reminder that warmer weather is coming, and the city is coming to life again after a long winter! The sun was just rising over the skyline as we met for their session. The city was still waking up and it felt as though we had the entire place to ourselves. Sunrise sessions are always worth it in that way!
We meandered through some of the prettiest corners of the Public Garden, capturing their joy as we went. I was having so much fun that I didn’t want their session to end! It was one of those mornings when I felt especially grateful to do this work. I wouldn’t normally set an alarm for 4:30 in the morning and be on the road before the sun comes up, but I felt so alive as I walked through Back Bay to meet Sam and Matt and as I ultimately created these images with them. I’m so thankful for the adventures that KSP affords me!
To Sam and Matt:
Thank you for choosing me to capture this sweet season for you! I had the best time with you both and am so excited for you in this season of engagement. I’m glad that you wanted to highlight the incredible city of Boston for your session and hope it always reminds you of the season of calling it home! Cheers to a joyful engagement and a wonderful start to married life together. I’m cheering you on every step of the way!
