Meghan & Pat’s wedding day at Boston Yacht Club was so good. It made me fall in love with Marblehead all over again. It’s extra special to me when a couple hosts their wedding in one of their hometowns, and that’s exactly what they did. From our trolley ride through the storied streets of town to the picturesque setting of Chandler Hovey Park for portraits, Marblehead showed off in the best way on Saturday. Just wait until you see the stunning backdrop of Marblehead harbor from their ceremony at Crocker Park. It’s all so good!

A Classic Boston Yacht Club Wedding

Meghan & Pat are the kind of people who feel like fast friends. They make you feel right at home, they’re gracious, and so at ease together. Their character runs deep, and that was made clear at their welcome party. They are surrounded by friends that they’ve had for decades. They love their people well, and it shows in the relationships they’ve cultivated.

That personal history and depth of relationship adds something really special to a wedding day. When a couple can look out at a room filled with people who they’ve poured into for years, and who have poured into them, it’s such a gift. And to begin your marriage in a way that is anchored by those relationships is even more of a gift.

This wedding day is going to stick with me. It felt so incredibly true to these two. It was fun, classic, and felt relaxed in the best ways.
