Jordan and Zach’s have shared more of their years on earth together than apart. Their wedding day at Cruiseport in Gloucester may be the most recent milestone in their relationship, but their love story has deep roots, dating all the way back to their years at Ipswich Middle School. They attended school dances and spirit days together. They shared their prom together, and graduation. And together, they packed their bags for college and championed each other as they built their dreams at UNH (where my dreams took root too – go Wildcats!). They both serve their community by pouring into others through great food and empowering education. They’re so incredibly special and they make Ipswich all the more magical by the way they’ve woven their love story throughout it’s storied streets and sweeping beaches.
On their wedding day at Cruiseport Gloucester, it was as though the whole town came out to celebrate. As Peter, Zach’s older brother, gave his toast, he shared how remarkable it is that Jordan and Zach have beared witness to more than half of each other’s lives. The fraction of life that represents their love story will only continue to grow and grow as they mark the years with joy and laughter, continuing to build their legacy side by side. Their wedding day was filled to the brim with threads of their legacy in the form of family, faith, and meaningful tradition. The joy was palpable, and it was as though every moment of their day was overflowing with it. And that’s their heart, to share that joy with everyone around them. These images represent a snippet of that joy, but it’s the memories from that day that they and each of their guests will carry with them that will bring these moments to life for years to come.
To Jordan & Zach:
Thank you for choosing us to capture this sweet, precious season in your love story. For years, Ipswich has been one of the places we’ve held most dear. Now, it is all the more special because we will forever associate it with you, too. I hope that you forever cherish the gift of sharing so much life together. It is a remarkable thing to be high school sweethearts. You have a story that cannot be bought, won, or earned, but has instead been built over the years. You share something so special, a story that is absolutely one for the books, and the gift of time. We pray that you continue to grow in love for each other, as our parents and grandparents (all high school sweethearts themselves) have done. And we hope that you fall more in love with each other with each passing year, always remembering the magic of those butterflies you first felt back in those middle school hallways.
