Dillon and I absolutely love adventure. Our earliest days of dating involved many “adventure days” with long car rides to new places. Our most recent engagement session was reminiscent of that, bringing us to the beautiful Connecticut coast! When Hannah shared that she and Nick had chosen Harkness Memorial State Park for their engagement session, we were delighted. We often photograph engagement sessions closer to home. It’s a treat when our couples want to share a special place with us and invest in bringing us there. This location was absolutely worth it! We could have spent the entire day with these two, exploring Harkness and talking about the joys of married life.

Hannah and Nick have an effortlessness and ease about them. From the moment we stepped out of our car, we instantly clicked. They were there to greet us with open arms and warm hearts and made us feel right at home. We had the best time talking about what brought them to Connecticut, their dreams for their wedding day, and the joyful anticipation of the days to come.

One of my favorite moments from our time together was when Hannah shared that she’d prepared an iPhone note filled with their favorite dinner places so Dillon and I could share a date afterward. And then the gesture was made even sweeter at the end of the night. They handed us a card, thanking us for not only being their photographers but also their friends. This is why I started KSP, for moments exactly like that! Enjoy this little peek into their incredible session!

Where to begin?! You two are the kindest, most gracious, down-to-earth people. Dillon and I instantly felt like we’d been friends with you for years. Your warmth, enthusiasm, and humility radiates in the way you treat others. But your character is most evidently in the way you interact with one another. We are honored to get to be your photographers and friends, too! We are counting down the days to your wedding celebration (less than a year to go!!!).
