I will never ever forget the moment. The reception was well underway and the joy in the room was palpable. Guests had already filled the dance floor and loved ones were breaking bread together around the table. Aubrey and Nolan were about to cut their cake and we went to check in with them. Then, Aubrey shared encouragement with me that I will cherish forever. She smiled her radiant Aubrey smile and said, “I was talking with Nolan during dinner and I told him, ‘Hiring Kyla was the best decision of our whole wedding'”. THIS is why we launched KSP and why we do the work that we do. It’s about so much more than creating beautiful pictures. It’s about creating an experience for our couples that allows them to live in the moment and savor their wedding day.

It’s all the more special when our couples love their experience so much that they share about us with their friends and family. At one point during cocktail hour, I was photographing the beautiful details that Aubrey chosen and I started chatting with a sweet guest. When I went to introduce myself, she said “Oh, I know who you are! I absolutely love your work!”. Friends, these are the kinds of moments that I used to dream about, and now they’re REAL. It’s the most fulfilling thing ever to realize that your business is making an impact for good and is a blessing to others. Our couples and their loved ones make it such a joy, day after day.

Aubrey and Nolan are a true delight. They’re down-to-earth, generous, and make everyone feel so loved and appreciated. Their wedding day was filled to the brim with love. Family and friends shared stories of the ways Aubrey and Nolan love them unconditionally. It is clear that they are incredible on their own but are unstoppable when they’re together. They are a force for good and they radiate joy and kindness. I will forever be grateful that another sweet KSP bride, Liz, connected us last year and that we had the honor to capture this magical day!

We’ll forever remember getting to have unhurried portrait time with you in the garden and laughing together as we shared mini grilled cheese from your sweet catering team. We truly felt like we were members of your family on your wedding day and we’re so grateful that you trusted us to capture all of your joy!
