Hannah and Aleks met in middle school and their love story is sweet as can be. They were both the new kids at their school and became fast friends. Their love for each other has grown deeper with each season of life, cheering each other on as they grew up, went to college (and grad school, and flight school!), and studied abroad together with Semester at Sea. Their engagement session at Boston College – Hannah’s graduate alma mater – was an absolute joy and yet another milestone in their love story!
This session was extra special because Hannah’s aunt had graciously captured some beautiful portraits for them after they got engaged. They brought that experience into their session with us and had a natural ease about them from their time with Leah. While it is never our expectation that our couples have prior on-camera experience, theirs made our time together even more fun!
During their engagement session, we strolled through the beautiful Boston College campus. It’s always a delight to be there among the history and beautiful architecture! We’d made plans ahead of time to grab a bite to eat together afterward, and when they suggested Bartaco – our favorite! – we were thrilled. We bonded over tacos, chips and guac, and street corn and talked about the things they are looking to about the season to come. They have such a solid focus on building a strong marriage, something so dear to our heart! Just wait until you see how these two look at each other – you’ll see a love story that is strong and filled with joy 🙂

Thank you for inviting us to Chestnut Hill and for sharing so much of your story with us! It feels like we’ve known you two forever, and we’re grateful to see that we all value marriage so much. You have such a legacy of love to build your marriage on, as well as the years of adventures that you’ve shared.
