It’s not often that we get to stand with our couples in the very spot where they got engaged. But on a magical summer evening with Mary and Sam, we got that privilege! Newport was bathed in the most pretty golden sunlight that evening. And Castle Hill Inn served as the perfect backdrop for their engagement portraits.
My favorite thing about this session is that it felt so them. It was like a date night was unfolding for Mary and Sam the entire time. The session started with a walk down memory lane as we heard the story of their proposal. We got to stand in the very location where it took place and capture their joy as they recounted it. We then made our way to The Lawn at Castle Hill Inn for their favorite cocktails. It was as though we were telling the story of a magical summer date night for them. It was so fun and felt so special! I invite you to peek into the joy that these two share in such a quintessential, classic New England place 🙂
