Sarah and Peter’s engagement session in Charlestown, MA was one of my favorites of all time. It felt like they were on a date in their neighborhood and we were simply telling the story of it. Their chemistry is unmatched and they have such an ease around each other. The thing that stood out to me the most about their session is the way that they chose to incorporate places and activities that feel naturally them.
We began their session at the Bunker Hill Monument, where a celebration had taken place days before for the 250th anniversary of the Battle at Bunker Hill. There were festive decorations all throughout Charlestown, which made everything feel even more special. We then made our way down to the marina to take Peter’s boat out to the harbor. Those photos are some of my favorites that I’ve ever captured at an engagement session. It feels like we’re getting a peek into a typical evening for these two and it was so fun to see them in their element, doing something that they love to do together! We’re counting down the days to their wedding at Annisquam Yacht Club (a favorite of ours!) later this season 🙂
To Sarah & Peter:
Thank you for treating us to such a magical evening in Charlestown! We had the best time with you two and are grateful we got to capture these memories for you. You two quickly felt like old friends to us and made us feel so welcome in the places that are dear to you! We are excited to capture your wedding day so soon and hope these images are a blessing to you in the meantime 🙂
