“He’s had a crush on me since middle school!” Holly shared with us during a call last year. It’s hard to believe that middle school was twenty years ago. A time when peers were getting their first cell phones – flip phones, at that! A time before social media, where after school activities were the main event and shows couldn’t be DVRed. It was during those sweet years, between childhood and adulting, that Holly and Eric became friends. Their friendship strengthened as they grew up together in the storied town of Marblehead. Not many couples can say that the roots of their relationship have that kind of history! But Holly and Eric are special, bringing out the playful and adventurous side of each other as they’ve grown side by side. Their sense of adventure and appreciation of New England led them to a move to Penobscot County, Maine last year. But they returned to their roots for their engagement session on Plum Island before ultimately welcoming their loved ones to their new corner of the region later this year.

We first met Holly and Eric at this joyful wedding in their hometown in 2022 (we all love you, Adrienne and Dan!). They are genuine, down-to-earth people. Naturally, we were so excited to reconnect with them last year and learn they were getting married. It is such an honor when the friends of our sweet couples join the KSP family themselves! Holly and Eric are the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been friends forever. We had the best time at their session, laughing together and exploring some of the dreamiest pockets of Plum Island. These portraits are fun and joyful, just like them!

We had so much fun with you and talked about how incredible your session was during the whole ride home. Your engagement session was simply a preview of the fun to be had together this fall! We are so grateful for you both and are counting down the days to “the big party” in Bar Harbor this fall!
