“I think that was one of my favorite sessions – ever,” I said to Dillon as I looked through the images from Haleigh and Pat’s engagement session in South Boston. From Haleigh’s Hill House dress to the dreamy golden light and the refreshing breeze off the water, it was all SO good. And it was made all the more special by the location. Haleigh and Pat invited us to their neighborhood.
We got to see the path where they often go for runs along the harbor. We got to see the place where they went to dinner on the night when they got engaged. They were even so welcoming to invite us to their apartment as a quick break to refresh between locations! It all felt so easy, as it should.
Every couple deserves to be at ease with each other, in a place that they love. That makes it so incredibly worthwhile as we preserve moments in time for them to look back on forever. Haleigh and Pat also brought a polaroid camera with them to snap a few pictures, including one with us! It added such a special touch to their session. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see the polaroid images 🙂
The remarkable thing about their engagement session is that we *almost* rescheduled it due to a heat advisory that covered South Boston that day. Thankfully, we were all reminded that waterfront locations feel significantly cooler than mid-city ones! We were met with the most refreshing gentle breeze throughout their session and stayed comfortable throughout. I’m so glad we didn’t reschedule!
Enjoy these images and a sweet peek into the lovely live that Haleigh and Pat are building together in the place that they call home 🙂
