I am so excited to share today’s classic Crane Beach spring engagement session. Kayla and Brian are *the* epitome of a classic New England couple. He’s from the Cape, and she’s from a Connecticut town that could easily neighbor Stars Hollow. He proposed at Brant Point, an iconic Nantucket Lighthouse (Dillon and I celebrated our 4th anniversary at Brant Point Grill last June!). They started dating during their senior year at Fairfield University and moved to NYC after graduation. Seven years later, they’ve built a life they love, along with their adorable King Charles, Tilly. They are down-to-earth, fun to be around, and radiate joy.
Their Crane Beach spring engagement session was an absolute treat! Since they live in Manhattan, we’d only met through video calls until this past weekend. While I felt instantly connected to them from our very first call, it was *such* a treat to finally meet them in person. They arrived at Crane Beach with impeccable style and an air of excitement. I firmly believe that engagement sessions are really special and super important. They felt the same way and brought an energy to their session that made it even more fun. Kayla is a gracious bride and was positively glowing from head to toe with joy. Brian and I became fast friends when he popped open a Cisco can, a nod to our beloved Nantucket. We all had so much fun together with so much to talk about, I didn’t want their session to end!
To Kayla & Brian:
I had the very best time with you both! When I launched KSP, I hoped and prayed that I would get to serve couples just like you. You are humble, adventurous, and it is clear that you are truly grateful for this season you are in. Savor every single minute of it. I’m honored to be your wedding photographer and cannot wait to celebrate alongside you as I capture your big day in just a few months!
