I am so excited to share this Back Bay spring engagement session with you today! This was my second time photographing engagement portraits on Commonwealth Ave this year and let me tell you, springtime in Boston is magical. Add a sunny, 75-degree evening and it gets even better. Carol and Jon have called Boston home for years, and the city pulled out all the stops for their session. The trees were perfectly in bloom and everything felt full of life. It was perfect and I had the best time with them!
I had been counting down the days to their session for weeks. Carol and I are kindred spirits. When we first met virtually this past winter, it genuinely felt like we were longtime friends. She is filled with joy and has the most gracious heart. I remember jumping up from my desk after our first call to tell Dillon, “I just met the perfect KSP bride! We could have talked for hours. I feel like we’ve been dear friends for years.”
When Carol and Jon arrived to their session (in perfectly coordinated outfits, of course!) I immediately felt like I’d known Jon for years, too. Throughout their entire session, he was so gracious and kind. I could tell that he was genuinely excited and invested in their session too. And I think all of Boston was swooning at the way he looks at Carol (she’s positively radiant, as you’ll see!). As if they weren’t sweet enough already, the icing on the cake of their session was their precious pup, Riley. She was incredibly well-behaved throughout their session and we became fast friends too. I had the best time with you both! You are truly such a joy to be around and the epitome of a gracious, kind KSP couple. I am so proud of you for the life and home you are building together and the precious little family you two and Riley are. We are going to have SO much fun on your wedding day! In the meantime, soak up every single moment of your engagement season and continue to make memories together. This is such a sweet time and I know you two will make the very most of it! 🙂
