Welcome to the KSP blog, a place where I share my work, wisdom, and a peek into my everyday life. I'm so glad you're here and hope you stay awhile!

Hi! I'm Kyla.

New England is filled to the brim with storied small towns that are rich in history. As a photographer, I am continually grateful for the countless options available to me for portrait locations. This historic village suited Heather and PJ perfectly for their Amherst New Hampshire engagement session. The town was quiet, the flowers were in bloom, and there was colonial charm at every turn. This location holds an extra special place in my heart because it’s where Dillon and I got married!

The setting alone was enough to make this session a dream, but Heather & PJ were so fun to work with. They have a comfortability with one another that instantly made their session feel natural. As we walked along the quiet streets, they shared some of their story with me and the joyful anticipation of their upcoming wedding. It’s such a gift to get to hear what couples are most excited about as they begin married life together. The engagement session is the perfect place to dream and sit in the excitement of all the goodness ahead! What stood out to me the most was their desire to not delay their start to married life. Instead, they chose to celebrate with loved ones now in the best way they knew how. Their day was nothing short of joyful and filled with love.

Heather and PJ, it was a joy to work with you both! Thank you for such a fun and picturesque session!

I love them all, but my favorite is the brick home in the background. Once again, you have such an incredible eye, capturing such beautiful moments 😊
